Greetings Big Red fans, I'm the BU fan from the old CHDF board and just thought I'd drop by. It only took me 6 months to track down this new forum. ;)

Congrats on your regular-season ECAC title, which is Step 1 on the march to the NCAAs. Might be amusing if the Terriers and Big Red went at it in Worcester, in a hard-fought game that I could see going to OT uhoh, but that's a long way off with league playoff business still to attend to.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you folks know that Sports Illustrated ran a rare two-page "Inside College Hockey" spread at the back of the magazine this week (Sarah Hughes cover), and one of the five items in the column was on Cornell's one-two goaltending punch, something BU faced back in November. I'd give the online link for the column, but it wasn't listed in the table of contents, so that leaves me to believe that it *might* be a regional item.

Good luck down the stretch and perhaps the Terriers will see the Big Red on March 23 at the Centrum if everything breaks right.

Thanks, Mark - it's always nice to see a friendly face from a rival school. The two games at BU this fall are among my fondest Cornell hockey memories ever (except for my hangover on Saturday), and I think a rubber match in Worcester would be exciting as heck. I'd be sorry to see BU go home instead of to St. Paul, though. :-D

Glad you found us, Mark. Yep, I'd love to see a rematch in Worcester--although, to be honest, I just want to see Cornell in Worcester, period. help

Great year for BU after a tough one last year. Congrats.

Delta:

You better reserve a bed at the Worcester Medical Center ahead of time. ;-)

Jim and Al:

Thanks for the welcome. Good luck in the Capital District swing this weekend.

BU has "somewhat" of an important double dip with Maine this weekend. twitch
