As many of us have noted, the discussion on this forum is deteriorating in the absence of Cornell Hockey. So, in the spirit of trying to get the warm fuzzy feeling back onto the forum...

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Joyous (fill in with your holiday) to everyone (including Facetimer and WITCHYWOMAN :-D ).

Now let's hope one of our holiday presents this year is a piece of hardware from Estero.

Happy Holidays to all, and while I wouldn't mind hardware from Estero, I'd much prefer some hardware in March and April, spitoons or otherwise. :-D

You forgot Festivous for the Rest of Us! ;-)

I'm still looking for a bar in Albany to watch the Estero games at...I'll start a new thread when it is finalized...

Happy Holidays!

Dude! Really?!

I'm heading to Vegas Friday evening. We should get together!

In fact I'm planning to watch the Everblades tourney from the sportsbook at Harrah's. :-{)}

(Oh, yeah - I'm not going to A.C. to see Sam play hockey. I got no response after I asked for people who were definitely going, and then a friend came up with this good Vegas package. I'll probably try to go later in the season.)

Wow...would they be showing CSTV in the sportsbetting area??? Normally, all I see in a casino are horse races and basketball... Dad and I already have rooms at Foxwoods for the weekend...I could just spend Saturday night...and hopefully Sunday nights in the Foxwoods sports betting area...

Happy Holidays all!

They claim to allow wagers on, and viewing of, any sporting event that's televised as long as there's a TV available. They still haven't responded to my e-mail query, but I'll probably call later tonight to ask. Anyway, CSTV is on DirectTV, so there should be no reason not to be able to show it.

Strike that... Harrah's won't do college hockey. I'll post later on with a Vegas location.

And on a side note, Foxwoods website seems to only do racing - horses and hounds. Silly people...

You should try the Imperial Palace (I'm pretty sure it happens to be near Harrah's). It was owned by the late Ralph Engelstad, and I hear they are therefore college hockey friendly.

You know.. I wish the Red all the best, but why would you ever bet in favor of our Icers in the Holiday tourney?

Just as well that I don't have the option - when they say on their website that they take bets on "all sporting events," they mean they take bets on "all sporting events on which someone has bothered to fix a line."

Last time I was in Vegas, the kind folks at the Venetian Sports Book mentioned that the Coast casinos (Barbary Coast, etc.) where the best college hockey places in town. Don't know if it's true, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks for thinking of me RedAR, even if you are a facetimer. I do wish all of you facetimers a happy holliday season.
