E-Faithful:

Thought you might want to check out our Harvard Hockey preview supplement, released here on campus Friday. It includes a league preview and several Harvard-related features and is available on-line at the following link ... (And yes, "Ticketgate" got some play.)

And while I'm at it, our preview of the Harvard-Brown game:

Also, please be sure to check www.thecrimson.com each Friday during the season for the weekly Harvard Hockey page, a new feature we're introducing this year. It will include a weekly ECAC column, feature, and weekend preview. (And perhaps we'll revisit the ticket situation at some point.)

Hope you enjoy the stories - and feel free to send me any feedback you might have during the year.

See you at Lynah, Bright, and The Pepsi. Who knows where afterward.

From the Ticketgate article in the Crimson:
[Q]Certainly having more Crimson in the stands to drown out Cornell’s Pep Band would be another benefit.[/Q]I guess they feel that the current strategy of seating the band right up against the corner glass (ie. absorbing much of the sound) isn't enough...

To be fair, Cornell does the same thing to visiting bands that actually venture into Section O.

I don't understand why she called the ticket plan a "Pick 4." There was nothing to pick at all.

Not only that, but it's a common complaint that the Lynah ushers treat visiting bands about as poorly as anyone in the league.

Well, I for one am happy that Mr. Morosi would come here and post this information, and that the Crimson has a pretty good hockey supplement this season. Pretty decent articles, too. (Down, Volonnino guy!) Thanks, Jon Paul. (Tempted to make a Seinfeld marathon episode joke, but I won't.)

Judging from these links I found buried in the sports section of the Cornell Daily Sun website, it sounds like the Sun's hockey supplement is also out today. I can't find any mention of it elsewhere on the site, and certainly not on the main page:

Yep, the hockey supplement is definitely in today's paper.
