Is that a "fuck you Harvard" chant?

2007 ushers in shambles.

The best scoring chances before the 3-0 goal came from simply putting the puck to the net. Great approach to start this game. Keep it up!

That was a miracle move by Walsh, too. "Changing your clothes in a phone booth."

I'm such an a**hole for hating on Vanini's barrage of "no question/no question about it". His frequency would make for a pretty robust drinking game, tho.

I was wondering which game Vanini was watching. The last half of the second period was dominated by Harvard, and he kept saying what a great game Cornell was playing.

they're up by 3 and while harvard dominated possession the red did a good job of keeping shane from needed to do much. i think they're playing a pretty good game.

...right up until the puck found itself sitting in front of Shane for what seemed like an eternity.

Heading to double OT in Hamilton. 'Gate dominated that period in every way that didn't involve St. Lawrence's goalie.

St. Lawrence wins in 2OT well against the run of play, though better than they played in the first OT.

The second Cornell goal came off an incredible hard-working shift by the Castagna/O’Leary/Mack line. I suggest checking out the tape of the goal starting from the preceding faceoff.

Go figure that DeSantis finally getting that monkey off his back would be a result of the flukiest goal of the night.

That was wonderfully ironic.

We can no longer complain about them trying to pass the puck into the net on the power play

Just watched a little bit of the end. Shane was slashing the crap out of Karpa to move him out of the crease, yet Karpa kept backing into him. Hence, the gloves and shoves at the end. (Would be nice if refs would call a crease violation here or there. I remember those being called more often once upon a time. But I suppose it doesn't involve contact to the head, which is the only thing anybody cares about these days, so who cares?)

That's going to be interesting to watch tonight.
