I enjoyed the mention on NBC during the medals ceremony (when they had the shot of Sarah's papa) of how Mr. Hughes was on the 1970 NCAA champion Cornell team!
I remember Cornell also got a mention when the Dallas Stars won the Stanley Cup in 1999. Gary Bettman (cornell alum) awarded the MVP to Joe Niewy saying, "and now, from Cornell and the Dallas Stars, the Stanley Cup MVP.... Joe N....!"
Ahhh, the shameless Cornell plugs.

There was a Cornell plug when Dana Antal was stickhandling during the third period of the final, as well.
