Says Military Appreciation night. Are we getting camo jerseys tonight or just a salute to a guy who served in Korea and has voted against every winning Ithaca mayoral candidate in the last 25 elections?

I will come to a time in my backwards trip when November eleventh, accidentally my birthday, was a sacred day called Armistice Day. When I was a boy, and when Dwayne Hoover was a boy, all the people of all the nations which had fought in the First World War were silent during the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of Armistice Day, which was the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

I now live in Denver so I have to rely on what the camera shows but I was in Lynah for almost every home game until 2018. My comment was merely a reaction to the announcer's characterization of the attendance, not a judgement. People show up late. Now in the second period, most of those empty seats are gone.

And given the appearance of the league this year, I could see Dartmouth being in the running for a bye if things go their way. They don't play in Hanover again for a while (tonight was the first of seven consecutive away games), but they should at least be hosting a round in the playoffs

We were due for some bad luck but wow, how do we not score on any of those odd-man rushes, including the 2x0? We didn’t come remotely close to executing on any of them. Dartmouth actually looked solid, but Cornell should have scored at least four goals. Also unclear what happened on the first Dartmouth goal, which came on a run of the mill slapshot from the blue line off a faceoff. Shane was slow to react or possibly just missed it. I didn’t see any Dartmouth players near the crease to block his line of sight. Shane honestly just didn’t seem locked in by the time the puck dropped.
