Shouldn't 3836 be an option? Or maybe even 3824?

Yeah, but if you enclosed the open end it would be closer to 5000, I think.

Jim,
Does "enclose the open end" mean to add seats to the (west?) side that currently is seatless? In the other thread you mention the dreaded idea that such a change could necessitate bringing the building up to current code levels. Isn't there a chance that an improvement at that end of the rink would essentially bring the rink up to code for handicapped access? Are there other issues?
"The Morgue" (TM) in Troy was somewhat successfully rebuilt in the 80's (I think). The tomblike atmosphere was preserved there and I think we could hope that the lively atmosphere could be preserved at Lynah.

May I humbly suggest you start with the Clarkson Band?

Now now, we should be happy when the visiting team brings a band, since it means they're being more like us.

Is there any real evidence that any significant renovations are likely to occur in the near future?

[/Q]Yes, it does mean the west/scoreboard end, and yes it might mean bringing it all up to code. So there is the rub.
I only said 5000, since I personally think that is a reasonable number of fans who would attend many games, and that we would probably get an extra 1000, or so, seats if we did do it.[Q]Richard Stott said:Is there any real evidence that any significant renovations are likely to occur in the near future?[/Q]This proposal to enclose the open end has been around for a few years and so far nothing. So, I doubt anything soon, but if we keep the team going to the NCAA's I think something will have to be considered.

Somewhat off topic, I do like Age's other polls. It never hurts to remember your history (plus it provides a plug for my favorite forward, who seems to get no play here whenever discussions about top CU players of the past come up).

I like Age's polls, but naturally I voted for "sucks" because, c'mon, any time you get to tell Age he sucks...

what do "Age's polls small woodland creatures" and "Age's polls 37" mean?
That makes no grammatical sense and left me confused

Don't think about it too hard. You'll hurt yourself.

If it wasn't for my horse, I wouldn't've spent that year in college.

I'm not thinking about it too hard because it makes no sense. A possessive has to be followed by a passive verb. i.e. Age's polls are... Age's polls do... Age's polls make...., or followed by an adjective, like suck, rock... Maybe "Age polls small woodland creatures", but not "Age's polls small woodland creatures", and as for "Age's polls 37," well I guess I'm out of the loop, because it seems to be winning.

Actually, I'm pretty sure "are", "do", and "make" are not passive verbs, nor are "suck" and "rock" adjectives, but don't sweat it.
"Did he just say 'making fuck'?"
"Did he just say 'making fuck'?"

That may be the greatest comedy routine of the last ten years.

Oh for the love of all things unholy and purple... After the 2 "sucks" options, I just added the first two completely random things that popped in my head in support of my polls sucking...
