Coach Schafer has been gracious enough to offer to answer questions from the Faithful again! We'll probably do this around the start of the season, but no reason we can't start collecting questions from all of you in the meantime, so ask away!

Can we yell "why don't we play more uptempo!" over and over while ignoring that we actually scored a bunch last season?

How much attention do you pay to the nonsense people post on eLynah and similar online forums?

Is there any cheer worse than Remote Control Goalie when it goes on for more than 10 seconds?

Do you favor limiting early recruiting similar to the new lacrosse recruiting rules?

I can answer that one for him. None at all. He doesn't read ELynah.

1) It seems like over the last few years we've seen a number of high profile recruits decommit, often more than a year after announcing their commitment to Cornell. Are you seeing a pattern or a change in how financial aid / admissions / competition work that is causing this change? What are you able to do to combat those issues?
2) Related, we've also seen shifts where in the mid 2000s classes were close to 100% Canadian. 5-6 years ago it seemed like the team was over half American. Maybe it looks like it's shifting back. More specifically the leagues the recruits are coming from seem to shift every couple years -- from the BCHL to the OJHL to the USHL. Are those trends just driven by where assistant coaches have relationships, or do you see the strength of the leagues shifting over time? What factors other than "we're looking for the best players" drive the change in national makeup of recruiting classes?

Question 2 you'll get a cliche answer. Question 1 is global thermonuclear war.pfibiger
