For those unfamiliar with the organization, as I was, here's the Wikipedia link to HC Kunlun Red Star, where Sean Collins is placed by the IJ story. As of today, he is listed on the roster by the Wikipedia article. He is not listed on the roster for the teams first game ever last month. The KHL web site does not have the Red Star players listed today, but is set up to do so.

Two on Scrivens.
First, Edmonton Journal one-on-one discussion. Very interesting.
Then, KHL on "Welcome to the League."
Here's the sum total of the second article.

Ben Scrivens (Dinamo Minsk)
Scrivens, 29, faced something of a crossroads in his career after struggling to find a starting position in the NHL. So taking a chance on a spell in Europe makes sense. It’s not the Canadian’s first time in Minsk – he played here in the 2014 World Championship and has spoken warmly of his new home. Off the ice, Scrivens has penned two extensive articles for North American website The Players’ Tribune, detailing his thoughts on the mental and physical attributes a top goalie needs; on this evidence post-game interviews could prove more insightful than many.

"That low output looks even worse when you consider the 32-year-old started the year reasonably well — three goals and five points in his first 10 games — before his production literally fell off a cliff."
It the off season and what better time to talk about grammar. It is literally more fun than a can of monkeys.
(BTW, I hope that Matt gets back on track. I don't suppose that Tavares will be joining the Sabres any time soon.)

After reading these two articles, it seems that Nash and Ferlin are both competing for a fourth-line spot on right wing, and Nash has the edge since the Bruins are paying him more money. It's ironic that two former Cornell players are battling against each other for the same spot on the team.

(I'm taking Nash in that fight. Ferlin seems soft.)
