Ben Scrivens won two games for the Habs this weekend, giving up one goal in each game, plus stopping all five shooters (including Riley Nash) in a shootout today.

Nice two games for him - 2nd star in 1st game, 1st star in 2nd game. Maybe he is finally getting readjusted to NHL play after being in the AHL earlier in the season?

Make it three - 37 saves tonight in a 4-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Went to the Phantoms game against Bingo-town Weds night. Bardreau got the start with the first line. He had two assists in a 7-2 LV win and definitely looks like he belongs (more so than earlier in the season when he was coming off his injury).
He also got hit with a vicious elbow in the first period and was off the ice for the ensuing 5 minute major, but the Phantoms scored two goals thanks to his willingness to go into the corners. Too bad the Flyers are so deep at center.

Iles could use a third liner.
For that matter, the Sabres could use somebody to set up Matt, who's fallen off a cliff.

OK by me last night: Flyers 5 - Sabres 1
I heard Moulson's name called a few times during the broadcast, but nothing of note. One mention noted that he'd been in the league for a while. Time flies.

Not really that deep. Without Couturier they're running Cousins, Laughton and Pierre Eduard Bellemare out (although i'll admit Cousins has impressed). Given that Laughton has been so disappointing this year defensively. Sure they could put Schenn at center, but he never really fit there and neither does Raffl or Gagner. The bigger issue for Bardreau is that he's just not NHL talent. He's an NHL/AHL tweener call up at best.Jeff Hopkins '82

Riley Nash with a goal and an assist (both on the powerplay) as Carolina is up 2-0 on Winnipeg going into the 3rd.

They're deep with guys who've been in the system for a while and have had more than a cup of coffee in the NHL (Cousins is the former, not the latter).
I think Hexy's comments on the Flyer's webpage kind of covers it. Bardreau is small.

Greening got the (termporarily) tying EAG for Toronto, but the Rangers scored twice in the last 90 seconds to beat the Leafs 4-2. Colin got some nice ice time, and was rather effective.

Riley Nash had another power play goal tonight, albeit in a losing effort against Ottawa.

Matt Moulson got his first goal since Nov 1 on Tuesday vs Ottawa, but the Sabres lost in the SO.
