It's that time again. History is here. Please nominate just one person for each award. The Nomination Phase will end at midnight on 4/1. The top 3 nominees will advance to the Election Phase.
The Moeser and Norton are automatic awards. The Hayward is obvious (sorry, Mitch).
Here are my nominations as a template:
Natyshak (Career Improvement): Mowrey
MacFarlane (Transcendent Beauty): Bardreau
Gage (Support): Hilbrich
Shippel (Scrappiness): Freschi
Schafer (Leadership): J. McCarron
Carter (MRO): Connor Jones, Qpc
Dadswell (Freshman): Lewis
Nieuwy (MVP): Ferlin

Dont' really understand Ryan or Ferlin for those awards...Ferlin is more a power forward and Ryan has been quite good his entire Cornell career.Jeff Hopkins '82

It might hae just been the games I saw, but I think Ryan was a little inconsistent early in his career, but now he's the go-to guy on D.
And I like how Ferlin can take the puck, skate behind the net, wheel out front and put it past the goalie from the slot. We haven't had anyone really capable of that in a long, long time. Or at least Schafer never let anyone do it.

And I like how Ferlin can take the puck, skate behind the net, wheel out front, [pass up the chance to shoot, and then surprise Hilbrich with a pass when he was setting up to bang home a rebound—all of that leading to a big, fat nothing.]
FYP. If only he did what you posted more often.

Natyshak (Career Improvement): Craig- He may not NEARLY be the strongest player, but I remember that he used to not play much at all and now he has played almost every game this season on the third line and he turned into a great player to stir up some emotions from the other team.
