I'm almost thinking the next one should have the speech from the old versus commercial. Because that really fits an Ivy League school on the national stage. Addimitedly we are the dream-crushing, soul-devouring juggernaut of the ECAC, but I think this really fits us on the national stage.

. Though perhaps we can save it for a potential Frozen Four berth. LGR!

Thanks for the suggestion. I hope you like my most recent video, "Cornell Hockey 2012-13 Season- Comeback," like you did the other two. The two issues I have with using that speech are: 1. I do not think that Cornell hockey can be termed really an underdog, and 2. I have used it already in one of the Penn State hockey videos that I have made last Spring before Blue-White Weekend. I do not think of Cornell as an underdog. Even if it will have been a ten year's hiatus from the Frozen Four, the headlines will be never that we are another RIT, Union, or Ferris State. Watch the infamous 2006 Midwest Regional Final and listen to the broadcast, Wisconsin had not made the Frozen Four in fourteen years and they were viewed as a juggernaut, not an underdog, when they reappeared at that level en route to a national championship. I think that Cornell might not be favored on the national level, but it is not an underdog per se. However, I do see your point, which leads me to my second issue with using that speech and why I would not. I used it in a Penn State hockey video and I have tried to keep my Cornell and Penn State hockey videos distinct in style and tone. I have avoided intentionally borrowing elements directly from one or the other. I tried to strike the right balance with the speech and song that I chose between showing there is an uphill battle in our out-of-conference schedule this season and the possible NCAA post-season, and the facts that Cornell is utterly dominant in the ECAC.

I have videos planned for the 2013 post-season. :)

Maybe so in general, but we're definitely an underdog against the types of teams taht usually make a Frozen Four. any of the Versus stuff is great (you vs. them, 2nd place)
