I just looked at the 2012/13 roster and there are only 7 defenders. No Mathieu Brisson. So what is the story? The 7 defenders we have look pretty good but defensemen get injured and starting with 7 is not ideal.

He chose to withdraw and pursue a career with the Quebec Remparts. He then was cut from the Remparts. I am not sure where he is presently, but upon reporting to the Quebec team he lost his NCAA eligibility.Steve Rockey
