I don't quite agree with where Yale and BU are placed and I think Union holding the 11th spot is shaky at best. UNH should be higher and RPI should be lower. Clearly the people who did these polls based their 10th+ votes on last year's outcome, not necessarily the team's performance this year.
Polls don't mean anything in hockey anyways...

Most of the voter's don't seem to do much more than glance at the scoreboards every week during the season. It's hard to imagine them doing anything more for a preseason poll.ajh258
I don't quite agree with where Yale and BU are placed and I think Union holding the 11th spot is shaky at best. UNH should be higher and RPI should be lower. Clearly the people who did these polls based their 10th+ votes on last year's outcome, not necessarily the team's performance this year.

Hey, I have a Bradley Terry ranking that shows that Cornell has the best record in all of college hockey this year! We should be getting first place votes!Jim Hyla

It's actually not quite done yet. One RPI player is returning for grad school and Quinny picked up a BGSU guy (edit: not eligible until next year).
