74. HUDON, PHILIPPE
95. LOWRY, JOEL
109. MILLER, STEPHEN
152. FERLIN, BRIAN
174. RYAN, JOAKIM

In comparison to the mid term list:

Mid term list
31. Philippe Hudon
85. Stephen Miller
128. Joakim Ryan
165. Madison Dias
204. Cole Bardreau
207. Brian Ferlin

So, Hudon drops, Miller drops a little, Ferlin rises, Lowry appears (and appears high on the list), Bardreau and Dias drop off the list.

Is that overall or just N.Am.?

Any idea how this might compare with prior years? (Is the best comparison to look at prior draft picks?)

This is the North American list.

Last year at Mid-Season, Brisson and Ferlin were ranked (177 and 122). Ferlin fell to 141 and Brisson off the list, and no Cornellians were drafted.

In 2009 Kirill Gotovets was ranked 179. Gotovets was drafted 183.

In 2008, there were no Cornellians in the final ranking. Nick D'Agostino was picked 210, Braden Birch was picked 179.

In 2007, Riley Nash was 64, Brendon Nash 169, Patrick Kennedy 192. Riley Nash was drafted 21.

In 2006, Joe Devin was ranked 91, Tony Romano 144, Blake Gallagher 149, Mike Devin 166, Tony Romano was drafted 178, Justin Krueger was drafted 213.

in 2004 Mid-Season (Can't find any final data), Ray Sawada was 33 and Mitch Carefoot 115. Sawada was drafted 52, Carefoot was drafted 237.

Thanks. This is very interesting.

I wonder what similar stats would look like if we went back to the class of '03 and its ranking when it entered. Also, this year's participants in the Frozen Four.

That's for posting pfibiger. Five recruits in the top 175. Another two who were on the mid term list. Looks like our next class[es] will be outstanding. Is it late October yet? Drop the puck!
