Given the season we have had, if we should happen to make the NC$$ tourney, I'd be okay* with us being shipped to Timbuktu.

*provided there is an internet feed or tv coverage on a mainstream cable sports network .

Dartmouth has to beat Yale to make it work I think. And if that happens Saturday night instead of Saturday afternoon, no CU in the NCAAs.

Consensus on USCHO is that Union is in. The worst I could get them was to 10th and that required Notre Dame to win the CCHA. If Cornell loses to Colgate in the consolation game we would almost certainly not be a TUC and that would take away two TUC wins from Union. That alone doesn't even seem to hurt them much.

Boston College could just as easily move up to a No. 2 overall seed, for example, and then Cornell would be in Manchester. Again - this is just an academic discussion - not trying to upset the gods

Probably the most significant thing about us being there is that we were in 11th place at mid-season during a "rebuilding" year. Yet when it comes down to the final four, guess who's baaack! Read the column on the Devins coming to Cornell, and then look at where we are. It makes a very convincing case for potential future recruits -- even if Schafer can't coach anything but clutch and grab hockey.
