Before people get on me about woofing gods, carts and horses and other such baloney, I will say this: If Cornell gets sent West, or if the team is swept up in a religion that deems competition unsightly or motorized travel a blasphemy, I will sell the tickets I am buying on Ebay to a lucky Quinnipiac fan. Now that I have that out of the way, some exposition . . .

I am planning on buying tickets for the full slates in Providence and Worcester. My plan is to stay in Providence on Friday and Saturday night. I would fly into Providence on Friday, drive to Worcester for the Worcester semis (a little over an hour from PVD airport to the Centrum, according to Mapquest), and drive back to Providence after the games. A pair in Providence on Saturday, another trip to Worcester for the night game, and back to Providence after the Worcester final. Then the final in Providence on Sunday, and a flight back home.

All of this is just a lead in (and suggestions for others, I guess) to ask, is it reasonable to think that I can make a 5ish flight out of Providence (Warwick, actually) after the 12:00 final in Providence?

Don't you live in New York? Why not take Metro North a couple of stops, rent a car there, and drive the rest of the way? Or carpool with Beeeej or someone?

On further review, driving is probably the plan. Shorter drive from Brooklyn to Worcester than I realized. Getting into and out of the airport probably makes driving faster door to door than flying.

Acela Express does Providence to NYC in under 3 hours. The Acela Regional (eg rebranded older train sets) do it in 3:45.
