Markell's contract is not being renewed. You would have to think Casey Jones might be a candidate for the job.

They have stated they are going to take their time and mount a nationwide search.
Sending an e-mail to my cousin, and his Dad, and wish him luck (sophomore D-man at OSU) -
Tough to have coach shift on you at times. Markell always ran a good program there from everything I read and have heard.
Any other openings at class D1 programs ?

Western Michigan. Plenty of Cornell-related names being thrown around there.

I would think that both Jones and Garrow are candidates for the jobs at OSU and WMU. Roll was mentioned for Bowling Green since he is an alum. Not sure what more Jones and Garrow need to do to get a head coaching job. I would think that unless a name steps forward Cornell might be forced to hire some new assistants...

Jones would certainly be a candidate for OSU. Brekke and Garrow should both be on the shortlist for WMU.
