Cornell's 3 point weekend was enough to move them up to #4 at INCH. The team has a great first unit PP and overall PK, but #4 seems a little generous to me.

I really hope they can make a statement in Florida.

Our movement up was at the expense of Q's movement down, which I think we can agree was deserved.

Yes, on all counts.
We still haven't won a "big" one. But, it was nice to see someone besides the G2 score.

wtf

0-2-1 against the rest of the poll somehow adds up to #4. Next fews games gives them a chance to earn it.

#5 in McPaper, #5 (with a first place vote?!) in USCHO.

The women drop to #8 in USCHO, behind Clarkson (3) and Harvard (6) from the ECAC.

Right now, the ECAC is 0-4-1 vs the WCHA. We need more games against them to really see how Cornell fits into the big picture.

Well, I'd take a few wins; otherwise we know how we fit in.worry

We got the elusive first place vote this week. I wonder how long it'll stick around.

Well, since we're not playing, it'll probably be gone next week.twitch

Depending on the severity, brain injuries usually last at least a few weeks. Whoever that was, I wish him/her all the best.

Does anyone else remember 3 of the top 10 in the polls (USCHO Poll that is) being from the 'EZAC'? Pretty impressive if you ask me.

But maybe means nothing. I personally wouldn't have put any of them as high.

I don't care whether it means anything. Well I do, but that is slightly besides my point.

What I'm focused on is the fact that the teams are indeed playing well and are being shown respect relative to other teams.

I'd have guessed last year (Yale, Cornell, Princeton).
