Just want to let anyone that will be in NYC this weekend know that some TVs at Ship of Fools (on Second Ave between 82nd and 83rd) have been reserved for the Harvard game. Hope to see you there!

Anybody in the SF Bay Area interested in doing anything?

I could be convinced to travel from the peninsula to the big scary city. Zeke's, near AT&T Park (or whatever it is called these days) has been good to us in the past.

In Palo Alto there is the Old Pro. They could probably give us a TV upstairs but it is hard to get a commitment. These days they are more interested in being a trendy place than a real sports bar (during the NCAA lacrosse semis they turned off the sound in favor of music because the manager likes it that way even though most of the people in there were watching the game).

I'm out of town this weekend, but I second the thoughts on what the Old Pro has sadly turned into.

I might have to work, so I can't commit to anything, but if anything materializes please do post the details. Peninsula is better than the city for me, but if I can go at all then I'm flexible.

if you have digital cable you should be able to pay for the "Sports Tier Package" (or whatever it's called), which will include CBS College sports, and costs either $1.95 or $3.95 per month. (I just saw something about a rate increase to $3.95, but I'm not sure if it has kicked in yet.) You can always cancel the package after watching the game, and pay the pro-rated amount,

I bought the package to get NHL Network for the game a few weeks ago that was broadcast on that network. I'll probably get rid of the package after hockey season, and pick it up again next year the first time I need it to watch a Cornell game.
