OK, the subject line is a little bit misleading because this is really about my being newly relocated to Bridgeport and knowing zero people outside of work. The background info is that I got a new job in June that has parked my butt in CT for Monday through Friday for the foreseeable future. I have an apartment and can stay the weekend for important things like Irene and CU @ Q or Yale. Maybe this year I can get to Lynah East for the first time. It looks pretty easy to do that.
But the point is, I don't know anyone at all here. I know there are a bunch of CT-based eLynahphiles and I am planning to attend the CU hockey games up here. So I am asking those of you within shouting distance of Bridgeport to either reply to this or PM me (or email heykb at hotmail) if you'd be interested in getting together socially at some point. At the very least, we could meet before the game and have a beer or a quick bite to eat. I'm up for chatting or meeting for a brew or watching CU on the tube or whatever.
Most weekends I still head back to Philly and my family, so non-hockey socializing would need to be Mon-Thur but I'm mostly available any of those nights unless work intrudes.
Thanks,
