This comment would have been more timely after last week's poll, oh well... I'm surprised/impressed with Cornell's ranking resiliency after two losses and now two squeakers against sub-500 teams. In the past, the voters would have sent Cornell or another ECAC squad tumbling after such. I guess there are more believers this year than in the past few. I'd love to know who the person is that gives us the sole 1st place vote (ditto for whoever was doing it in the USA Today poll a few weeks back), not sure I agree, but what the hay.

Well the two losses were very close losses against top 10 teams without our starting goaltender. Not saying we shouldn't have won those games, but they certainly aren't really bad losses.

I was beginning to wonder where the USAToday poll had gone, as they haven't had one since 12/16 (although it appears they did since we're listed as #6 from the previous poll, but it wasn't published on either uscho.com or usatoday.com), and I couldn't find the new one online last night.
