This was in today's Syracuse Post-Standard [www.syracuse.com] . There are at least some figure skaters who want to go to CU. The quote about 2/3 the way down [Q]Tupper was recruited by a number of area colleges and had visited Cornell University the Thursday and Friday before her big ice dancing test. On the Monday after her Golden Waltz, Tupper found out she'd gotten into Cornell University and will be competing for a spot on the Big Red women's lacrosse team.
"That was, like, the best weekend of my life," said Tupper, whose plan is to major in industrial labor relations as a precursor to law school. [/Q] says alot about her commitment. Maybe we can get her to dance inbetween periods.
