Does anyone know if the Maine game will be televised on any television startions?

Last we knew, none of the Everblades Tournament is being televised.

On any television stations, anyway. :-)

For those in NYC, I called the Sporting Club (Hudson & Duane?) and was told that they'd be able to put the game on one screen there. I plan to stop by.

Big game.

Where did you see that they were televising the game though, Nathan? I'm sure the Sporting Club will put it on if it's televised, but the question is is there any TV coverage in the first place?

If it's on there, I would head down.

Unless something drastic has changed - and nobody's announced it, which is highly unlikely in the event of such a drastic, important change - the game is simply not being televised. Anywhere. It never was.

Don't waste your time going to the Sporting Club; you'll prevent yourself from listening to it online while you expend pointless effort.

Guess you're right Beeeej, unless Nathan or someone else attests otherwise. I checked all the websites I could think of. On Direct TV's site, they have both "College Hockey" and "ECAC Holiday Tourney" listed. Though it doesn't say what games, and there is no actual ECAC tourny, just a lot of ECAC teams playing in tournaments.

I know nothing's listed, but I wouldn't put it past the CU site to fail to list the game. But I checked Maine's too, and it had listings for televised Maine games, and this was not one of them. So I figure not. Certainly wont trek over there. Oh well. Let's go Red!

There doesn't even seem to be a preview of the game at the CornellBigRed site. A feature of the new, improved coverage, I presume.

Can anyone suggest what might have been the last regular season game that had as much national implications as tonight's?

Give them a break Al, it's X-mas/New Years break.

(Notice a recurring theme here?)

Interesting though, that they have a preview of the wrestling contest and the men's basketball game, but not hockey.

I agree that it's not listed anywhere; and it's not unusual for a bar to tell you that they'll put something on without knowing for sure that it's available ("just get your sorry, beer-drinking ass in the door";). But I'm having dinner next door anyway, and it's worth a shot.
Did I mention that this is a huge game?
Oh baby. Despite what the neighbors say, shouts of "Let's Go Red" at your computer speakers actually help.
Rock on.

The "ECAC Holiday Tournament" is an annual college basketball tournament played at MSG. This year the featured teams (as if any of you kept reading after I wrote "basketball";) are St. John's, Manhattan, Iona and UNC.
