Start time vs. Safety School on Saturday 2/24

I received a pair of tickets via the CU ticket office lottery to this Saturday's game vs. Safety School, with the start time listed as 8:00. Then I got another pair with the start time shown as 7:00. A call to the Hahvahd ticket office confirms 7:00.
Is it a viable conspiracy theory to believe that the tickets that were sent to the CU ticket office would have been printed with the wrong start time so that certain fans might all show up an hour late??

I would think they run off all the tickets for each game at the same time, making it puzzling as to why some would have different start times. Did anyone else who got tix through Cornell also get an 8pm ticket?

so when is the actual game time? are we sure its 7pm? Made dinner reservations @ 5pm, but thinking I should push it back to 4:30 instead...
EDIT: called harvard, confirmed again. the lady was unaware that the tickets said 8pm...i have tickets from both harvard and cornell..not sure which one I checked that said 7pm...

Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.

Just show up at 7pm. If the game really starts at 8 you have a good opportunity to taunt the Harvard players during warmups.

Show up at 4pm and harass the vendors. That'll learn 'em.

Fox and friends are just begging the public to apply that to this administration. Here's hoping it doesn't work.

I guess one could make the same request about discussions about time zone formats. But then, quick little one-off jokes like that don't work as well if you put them in a separate thread in a different forum, do they?

Yeah, I suppose so. You just caught me at a moment where I was in a political commenting mood and was tempted to write something back that was likely to start a political flamewar. Better to leave that in JSID or skip it entirely.ftyuvKeithKCan we please leave the blatant political jibes in the JSID forum?ftyuvBeeeej

So if indeed there are a bunch of tickets with the wrong start time, what's the best way to get the word out to make sure we all show up to outnumber them on time? Had I not gotten this other pair of tickets today, I probably would have shown up at 8 and been angry.

Show up at noon, head to campus, and get a group of Faithful in front of the John Harvard statue to start chanting "It's all your fault!"
