What are the Tie-Breakers for the IVY Championship? What about for determining seeds in the ECAC? Thanks,

No tiebreakers for the Ivies; teams tied at the top are co-champions.
I've posted the ECAC tiebreakers elsewhere, but why not have them in their own thread:
jtwcornell91
-- Head-to-head record
-- Record vs top 4
-- Record vs top 8
-- Head-to-head goals
-- Net goals vs top 4
-- Net goals vs top 8
-- Coin flip
Lots of complicated and fun things happen if three or more teams are tied, or if there are ties involving 4th/5th and/or 8th/9th place.
Note that wins are never used as a tie-breaker. For all ECAC seeding purposes, two ties are as good as a win and a loss.
Of the teams we can be tied with, we win the tiebreaker with Clarkson and lose it to Dartmouth. (We won the season series with the Knights, and the Green can only end up tied with us if they tie or beat us Friday night, which means they'll have won the series too. Dartmouth also comes out on top in a three-way tie with us and Quinnipiac.) A tie with Quinnipiac could go either way, since it comes down to record vs the top 4, and Q still has to play Clarkson and SLU. (Plus, we play Dartmouth, who could also end up in the top 4 by the end of the weekend.)
You may find [slack.net] useful for working out possible scenarios.

For completeness, here are the complicated and fun details I mention above (now re-adapted to top 4 and top 8 tiebreakers).
1) For multiple team ties, as soon as you reach a stage where the tie is broken, you take the top team (or teams if they're still tied at the top) off and then start over on the rest of the teams.
2) If you need to use top 4 anything on a tie that spans 4th and 5th place, you consider only records against teams above the tie. (Of course, it doesn't matter whether you include teams in the tie or not, since you have to be tied in head-to-head record (or goal differential as appropriate) to even get to the top 4 tiebreaker. The same goes for ties involving 8th and 9th place which come down to a top eight tiebreaker.
3) Break the ties needed to determine the top 4 and top 8 first, before trying to break any other ties. (Duh.)
4) If the dreaded infinite loop arises (tie spanning 4th and 5th place requires top 8 and tie spanning 8th and 9th place requires top 4), apply the following tiebreakers in the following order until something shakes loose, then start over from head-to-head:
a) break the 8th place tie using record vs the top teams, up to and including all the teams tied for 4th place
b) break the 4th place tie using record vs the top teams, up to and including all the teams tied for 8th place
c) break the 8th place tie using record vs the top teams, up to and including all the teams tied for 8th place
d) break the 4th place tie using head-to-head goal differential
e) break the 8th place tie using head-to-head goal differential
f) break the 4th place tie using goal differential vs the top teams, up to and including all the teams tied for 4th place
g) break the 8th place tie using goal differential vs the top teams, up to and including all the teams tied for 4th place
h) break the 4th place tie using goal differential vs the top teams, up to and including all the teams tied for 8th place
i) break the 8th place tie using goal differential vs the top teams, up to and including all the teams tied for 8th place
This is all implemented in the ECAC Playoff Possibilities Script.

So, for the coin flip, who gets to be heads and who gets to be tails?
