I am not sure if games this close traditionally deserve a roll call list. If they do, who is going? If this game does not warrant a role call then ignore this. However, all suggestions on where to go for dinner and drink before the game would be welcome.
Hopefully we can come back with a win and the other half of the piccolo.

Considering the example set by the Colgate students, shouldn't we hold off on the drinking until after the game?WillR

Just collect the full bottles and cans they throw at the game, and you can drink for free!

Just stand in front of them as they incoherently scream obscenities at you and get a buzz off the fumes.

I'll be there and am responsible for bringing the game sweaters up this year.

Maybe we'll maintain our perfect record on Thursday nights.

I'll be there, and I will bring up the sweaters should Ari forget to bring them.

Ari, please don't leave me behind. If you go all the way up to Hamilton with just some sweaters and your sweat band, I'll be lonely in Ithaca. I still have terrible memories of the Estero games. You were down in sunny Florida in your sandals and I had to stay behind in snowy Ithaca. Please, never again

Speaking of which... (and apologies if this was discussed last year during the jersey incident) why don't jerseys travel with the team on the bus?

Were you at Cornell for last year's game at Colgate? Last year the team forgot to pack the jerseys and had to wear old colgate jerseys, pinneys, or nothing over their shoulder pads during the warm-ups while someone from Ithaca drove the jerseys up to Hamilton (with a police escort for at least part of the trip). The game was being televised on ESPNU, and delayed for about 10-15 minutes due to the jersey fiasco.
I'm sure this will be a standard feature of the @ Colgate roll call... Who is bringing the jerseys. And Ari, please do remember the cowbell. I'm sure it will be nice and warm on the ~ 2 hr drive if you tuck it in nicely with the jersey and then it will definitely smell like a real hockey cowbell.

Not to be rude...but you didn't quite answer my question. I am very aware of what happened last year, which is why I referred to "last year during the jersey incident". My question was why the jerseys didn't travel with the team on the bus last year, ensuring that both actually get there?

They forgot them.

The equipment guy forgot to pack them. McLeod (who wasn't on the team last year) drove them up (he was partway to Hamilton when he got the call; had to go back to Lynah to grab the jerseys, and race back up).

It's a pity they couldn't collect enough gameworns from the Faithful to wear those. That would have been cool.

My recollection is that they had actually begun to do just that.

Right, but I recall (second hand) that they didn't manage to get a full set.
