I've bought them at the gate the last few years without any problem. Ask for the Cornell section and you'll wind up with the few other Elynah Faithful that will be there. I've also bought them from the Cornell ticket office, which would be the safest way to make sure you've got your tickets.

Buying at the rink is fine. Plus it's the second game and a lot of fans from the first game clear out.
You will be amazed how friendly the arena people are. That's another plus.

Ok, great thats what I was hoping for. I guess capacity isn't a problem then, is there any way to purchase them in advance?
Thanks again

You can order them on-line [http://www.ticketmaster.com/venue/107143] or call Germain Arena directly (phone numbers also listed in the above link).
Santa leaves my tickets in my Christmas stocking and I believe Santa (aka my Daddy) buys them at the box office. Getting tickets the same day is not a problem. I believe that the Everblades offer tickets as part of the season package plan, but at most I think the largest crowd I saw there was ~ 3,000 and that was for the Cornell-BC game 2 years ago.
You also can pretty much sit where you want. Those of us who want to stand and cheer usually take the rows near the top of a section.
BTW there is now at least 1 hotel and an Applebee's (or maybe Ruby Tuesdays, I get them confused) close to the rink, on Corkscrew Road, just off I-75, exit 123, one of the rink exits. They have also built a new, huge mall near Corkscrew and Route 41, so traffic should be even more unbearable. Let me know if you need more information and I can ask my parents for the specifics.

Don't give Ticketshafter the satisfaction of their "convenience fee".

I believe we had a bad experience with the service at that Applebee's (or one near there) after the championship game last year.
In any case, the above comments are pretty accurate. Tons of empty seats, just go stand with some Faithful, and have fun.

On this topic. If I bought through the Cornell ticket office, over the phone from the arena, or in person at the arena, are there any 'convenience' or shipping fees associated with those options?
Sure, I could ask myself, but then what is eLF for?
