chimpfood Cowichan valley is playing their fourth game in six days and roest still can’t sniff playing time even after dropping down leagues. I don’t have much trust for him or Katz at this point so hopefully Keopple steps up next year and we can recruit a stud for 2026/27. reading the kovich article i saw that umd had a goalie in the portal. maybe a trade?by ugarte - Hockey

sah67 Barron scores his 7th of the season on a great individual effort, forcing a turnover at the blue line and then making a power move to the net on a breakaway: i love watching our guys get wow goals in the pros. much more satisfying than when they pop in a grinder rebound. makes me think about what they'd look like if the red had a more free-flowing offense. i know that it is the yin to the yby ugarte - Hockey

stereax sah67 Bancroft scored in his pro debut, but it was a 6-4 loss for Providence against Utica. Losing to Utica, damn. Suda also scored in his second game. And Shane just got a shutout for Norfolk. Great Big Red showings.i guess scoring to bring your team within two in the final minute of the game isn't how most people want to score their first pro goal. bancroft's only reaction was to coaby ugarte - Hockey

BearLover What the fuck? Is he flunking out of school or something? Does he hate Casey? This is impossible to explain. This team is winning absolutely nothing next season now. 10 players graduate, and then two of the remaining best three players on the team leave (at minimum). stereax sah67 In tonight’s Montreal game, Lane scored a nearly identical goal to Cole’s against us. Think the Hutson brothers drill this one a lot? They're fucking nasty. God damn what a shot. jtwcornell91 ugarte jtwcornell91 David Harding My apologies. This isn't Cornell or hockey, but I couldn't find another thread on The Portal in general. BearLover ugarte BearLover CU77 If Cornell finishes 3-3, they will not be #4 in RPI or anything close to it! In the simulation, 3-3 would be a low-probability outcome, so it's basically ignored in the "average" final RPI prediction of #4. Isn’t 3-3 the most likely of all outcomes? Tom Lento Back on topic, I don’t share any of the BU animosity, I love the historical rivalry, and the Terriers are my cousin’s adopted college hockey team (he went to Iowa, no alma mater to cheer for). The point of a historical rivalry is to develop irrational animosity, Tom! And develop some hate for your cousin while your at it for not getting your back. Anyway, rooting for the Broncos. Trotsky You have to treat guys who have put in the work here well or word will get around. i don't buy this tbh. in wrestling the most likely places to get recruited over are Penn State and Iowa, who are poaching transfers not only from small school guys that make a run to AA after getting overlooked in high school (which you'd expect) but from other top-tier B1G schools. i don't think we sufferby ugarte - Hockey
