[edit: never mind. Game story's up. Did I miss it earlier, or did it post late? It certainly didn't make the home page recap.] USCHO's coverage of the top half of the Top Ten seems to be missing Cornell. Box score but no game story.
>>> [www.uscho.com] In a much anticipated clash between two of the top five teams in the country, the visiting [Colorado College] Tigers squandared a two goal first period lead before holding on for a 2-2 tie with the energetic and cagey [Wisconsin] Badgers. A similar result manifested itself in adjacent Minnesota, where seventh ranked Denver skated to a 3-3 deadlock in Mankato. Elsewhere in the top ten, fourth ranked Maine and upstart Vermont cruised to victories; sixth ranked Michigan State fared far worse, losing at home by three goals in stunning fashion to Nebraska-Omaha.
The Boston Globe had a nice and fairly neutral game story and mentioned the Cornell fans. Too bad there wasn't room to mention Harvard had to give away 300 tickets to fill the place.
>>> [www.boston.com] Schafer called a timeout at 13:41 of the third period, and his team seemed to respond. The Big Red scored the tying goal after Du and linemate Mike Taylor, battling to clear the puck from the Harvard zone, punched it up against the boards. But Cornell defenseman Doug Krantz, with help from his forecheckers, held the point, kept the Crimson from clearing the zone despite heavy pressure, and skated from the boards with the puck. After settling the puck, Krantz cranked a fast-moving slapper that rocketed over the glove of Daigneau (27 saves) at 14:56 of the third period, delighting the heavy representation of Cornell faithful in the stands. Less than three minutes later, those fans had even more reason to cheer. Cornell had an odd-man rush and Abbott fired a shot from the right side that Daigneau booted out with his right pad. But Scott, who assisted on both of Cornell's first-period goals, was charging to the net without fear, blowing past his backchecker. Scott was rewarded for his hustle when Daigneau kicked the puck to the forward's stick, giving the sophomore a wide-open lane for his second goal of the season.

from uscho.com: "CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — A sellout crowd at the Bright Hockey Center witnessed another in a long list of memorable clashes between the Harvard Crimson (2-2-0, 2-2-0 ECACHL) and the Big Red of Cornell (4-1-0, 3-0-0). Tonight's back-and-forth affair was fast and physical throughout; the outcome wasn't decided until the Big Red managed to rally and score two goals in the last five minutes, pulling out a 4-3 win over its archrivals."
Does it count as a "sellout" if 300 of the tickets weren't technically "sold"?
