Apprently this hasn't been updated in about a month, but it has a whole heck of a lot more info than the last time I looked.
6 teams - 3 east/3 west. Games in Vancouver, Toronto, and Hamilton. Scheduled for mid/late May.
Teams will be each awarded the following:
1 point for every period won
2 points for every game won
A total of 5 points possible earned per game
NO redline
Tagging up allowed
NO icing during penalties
Player sits out whole penalty regardless if opponent scores
We will rid the game of obstruction and clutching and grabbing by strictly - Enforcing hooking and holding rules
Players can curve the stick as they wish
Potentially eliminate 3rd man in game misconduct?
Player list - currently includes Amonte, Barnaby, Burke, Carter, Chelios, Esche, Gomez (uh, don't think that's happening anymore), Hatcher, Iginla, LeClair, Lidstrom, Merchant, Nash, Pandolfo, Primeu, Raycroft, Roenick, and Theodore - those are the names I recognized at q quick glance

Why is eliminating the third man in rule seen as good, anywhere? I can see loosening up the rules on fighting -- that may cut down on stick play -- but line brawls aren't good for anything but fight videos.
Well, at least there'll be hockey in May other than the Memorial Cup.

Relax John. No reason to get worked up over a throw away line that's basically a snipe at the NHL.
Although to be honest, why should there be big time hockey playing in May? It's May for crying out loud! As someone said a few years ago when Florida was in the Cup finals (man, it's been almost ten years):
"...the Final Sign of the Beast of Revelation is upon us.
Ice hockey. In Miami. In June.
Surely a Creator with any sense of aesthetics will destroy us for this."
