Yes, they said it over the radio. I don't think it's a state secret.

In fact once Coach Shafer says it on the pregame show, I think we can post that it was reported to be spasms. Coach also said that if it occurred eary in the week, he'd probably be playing now.

I know we've had this discussion many times ... and I still don't think it's our place to tell the world the hows and whys our guys are hurt. IIRC, they did say he was out of the line up but they did not say why ... which is how i precived the original Q: Not if ... but why? If we're meant to know we will, if not then we'll just have to make do with some other chit-chat.
just my $.02
EDIT: Missed the pregame due to our wonderful "deal" w/ athletics, sorry for the rant.

Why is this post from "hynes"? Is your name "hynes"? Is it too much to ask for people to actually use the "Your Name" field for their damn name, or at least an alias, rather than to repeat the subject of the stupid message?
Spend the extra two seconds to come up with a word to identify yourself rather than the post, god damn it! (My favorite is the post complaining that an opponent is classless with the name "classless". Are you saying you're classless too, since that's how you've identified yourself? Fucking idiots.)

One wonders if registration should be required to post here finally.

What's the big deal? I'm confused. You can usually tell from the logged IP who people are, such as "---.no.no.cox.net"...

Anaheim Mighty Ducks' coach Mike Babcock was on a radio talk show tonight. He was discussing the depth of the Ducks' prospects. While he talked mostly about phenoms Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, he did speak positively of Shane Hynes as well. Babcock said one of the essentials to success in the NHL is having enough "soul" to play hard every night through the long season. From what I've seen and heard of Hynes, I think Babcock will like him if and when he gets a shot at the big time.
