It's late afternoon on the second Monday in February and that can only mean one thing-- time for Harvard to play in the Beanpot consolation game. They play underachieving BC at 5 (don't think it's televised but should be on web radio somewhere). The ECAC could really use a Harvard win here.

It's a terrible shame Cornell didn't move to replace the forest sooner, because now I fear we are stuck with Cornell feeling like a city, with trees in planters, rather than buildings nestled in the spaces between trees.

Too small to pursue his fantasy of playing football for the Miami Dolphins, Zucker took to writing local sports stories for The Miami Herald. He continued his writing career as an undergraduate at Harvard University, where he covered sports for The Harvard Crimson. He later became president of the publication. 11/24 Vermont loses to UMass 6-2
11/28 UMass loses to Quinnipiac 5-4
12/4 Quinnipiac loses to Yale 7-4
1/12 Yale loses to Harvard 3-2, and Harvard holds it against Dartmouth on 1/18 by a score of 4-1

I didn't check everyone's upcoming schedule for non-conference play, but assuming Harvard gives it up to Union, RPI, or Princeton before their annual Beanpot debacle, FWIW the ECAC could hold it into this year's playoffs.

And yes, I do have too much time on my hands. Gotta find a job one of these days.
