I discovered long range AM by growing up a Mariners fan on Long Island in the mid-late 70s.
Wow, they were NOT good at all back then. And I'll bet you didn't have much company rooting for the Ms on Long Island.

I wanted to root for a team right from their start, so I adopted the Mariners and Seahawks.Chris H82

Wow, they were NOT good at all back then. And I'll bet you didn't have much company rooting for the Ms on Long Island.

TBH the Mariners have been the perfect pairing with the Mets.ugarte

Yeah, my wife and sons love to watch me suffer endlessly with the yearly disappointment by the Mariners.
