Self-care for us all.

It helped. We'll get Princeton tonight. Let's Go Red.
Oh gosh, they're adorable... :')

Back at it. Let's go Red :)

VIEWfromK
I thought Cornell started to find their game the last five minutes of the first and at least the first five minutes of the second. They just couldn’t sustain it. Sure would like to have the Rego open net chance back from the second period. The past couple of weeks he sure has picked his spots to activate. It was nice that they controlled a few of those offensive zone face offs after they had pulled Shane. It gave them a chance to get some good looks. Quinnipiac blocked a ton of shots, especially late when trying to protect the lead. The puck sure had a lot of english by the time it got to Castagna with the chance to tie it up. This felt like their best game taking the body. Bancroft had a handful of hard hits. Walsh chipped in with a couple of his own. It’s hard to get used to a Cornell team that shies away from playing below the goal line. There were a few times where from the half wall the puck carrier had a choice to put the puck into the open corner but instead chose to try and get it to the point where it seemed that Quinnipiac outnumbered Cornell all night. These guys most often choose to try and carry the puck into the zone over dumping it in and going to get it. So many of their possessions ended at the blue line.

I actually thought they looked good in the first until the unnecessary Walsh cross-checking penalty in the offensive zone. That totally flipped the momentum to Q, who was able to get a very fortunate PP goal. From that point, it seemed like things were mostly not going well.

I don't know what to expect from tonight, frankly. Around this time last year, they looked just as poor against a weak Princeton team, which they're facing tonight under a different, but very familiar coach.

We looked better but not dominant against Princeton in the exhibition. All I need is a win, I don’t care how it comes.

Time to start benching guys who take stupid penalties

And replacing them with Jimmy Rayhill? Pass. Schafer said he’s going to mix up the powerplay so I imagine changes will come but hopefully not benching our good players.

It'll be nice when we're healthy enough to bench players for bad play.

Maybe our GOOD players should stop taking BAD penalties

The Rancor
No one hates this team as much as Bearlover. Please stop whining. It's still November.
Big Dingus is giving him a run for it.

Weirdest courtship ritual I've ever seen.

At least Bearlover truly cares. Big Dingus is just an attention seeker.

The Rancor
One player on Quinny returning from the National Championship team is a wild stat.

Interesting to note - according to the Grand Forks Herald, Q got 5 players via the transfer portal, the six Ivy teams a total of 2 (Brown and Dartmouth), the other five ECAC teams a total of 18. I’m sure they were all seeking a better academic experience.
