CSTV has video...
Waaaaaaiiiit just a minute. Is that as-in, free non-all-access video or is that the front end for All Access?
Why do I feel like I'm being offered something that's too good to be true?
Edit: I hate it when I'm right. It only LOOKS like they're going to provide video. The pay part doesn't pop up until very late in the process...

Save your battery and have someone text the score to your cell phone.

Does anyone know why the 8 pm start tonight? The game is not being televised. Just curious.
So far, so good... Internet is working (I was able to get the football game today), fire is burning, Abby (my dog, rhymes with Bâby
) is cuddling on the couch. Please keep fingers crossed that my internet does not go down and I don't start cussing again.

Was that Jason who was told (during a radio break that came across on the feed) to crank up the pot on his mike, then Jason said that made it too loud during commercials, but "I'll get it up ... sometimes I forget." Good thing the ushers didn't hear him.

I'm expecting a fairly tough test tonight. RIT has one goal losses at SLU and Clarkson (2 goals counting an ENG), and a tie at Union. With six games played (they won the other 3), I'll be happy with any short of win tonight.

Nice powerplay goal by Bitz. I really liked the way he took the puck to the net.
Romano, as mentioned above, did have some really sweet moves on one rush to the net.
So far so good. I like the shots and Davenport is doing really well in net.

The RIT announcers are pretty good. Funny. Entertaining.
One downside is signing up for Real Player (required by RIT) - these people are ex-Microsoft and have some tricks even MS hasn't thought up. See all the checkboxes of stuff they'll send you and they're all unchecked? The ones you see are unchecked but if you scroll down you'll see the hidden items are all checked.
If Real Player isn't your default player, you get a pop-up, "Do you want to correct this problem?"

I like them too. They're being fair, and they are very quirky. They also called Cornell the real, old fashioned college experience. Thats a compliment.

Tony Romano has had three great rushes this game.

I'm OK with them. They're a lot better than many of the other schools' announcers.
Shots 27-19 Red. I thought it was more lopsided.

After committing a turnover, Romano shows great speed and creates a great opportunity. Don't remember when I've seen that from a Cornell forward.

Nice comment about the faithful, because we're not leaving the rink. Okay, sure.

I just tried the video again... "This event has not yet started". I'm just going to email Cornell Athletics. I do not have the patience to wait on hold for the opportunity to talk with the CSTV tech "service" staff member.
Audio is still working (she said while knocking on wood with fingers crossed).
Rita,
I'm having the exact same problem on a MacBook Pro running xp w/ the most recent flash and windows media player. let me know if you come up with anything, I may try to harass the tech support this week some time.
Phil, I think my MacBook is working ok, it did for the football game today. I think tonight's issues are due to CSTV. I saw Oceanstate41's post about the video being up, and I was able to get video until just now when it cut out with the "game not started yet" message. Sounds like the PC people are having the same issues. (My issues for the RMU game were mainly due to my internet provider, with no internet service, I can't blame CSTV).

Who did they have in goal for SLU's 60-shot loss against them last year?

After the initial god comment he said, "well, god is here every night if you ask a Cornell fan." LGR!
