The rap on Cornell going back to Ned Harkness and Richie Moran is that Cornell started real slow and became world-beaters as the season wound down.
Ned's 3 Cornell lacrosse seasons, 12-0, 11-1, 12-0.
Last four hockey seasons:  27-1-1, 27-2, 27-2, 29-0.  Combined total record over his last seven "seasons:" 145-6-1.

I miss those "real slow starts."::burnout::  Can I have one or two more like them?

Bill- really should not include Harkness - his one loss in the three years was mid to late season.

Vs. Princeton.  Damn...
"Yo Paulie - I don't see no crowd gathering 'round you neither."
Cornell's offense was sluggish, at best.
FWIW, neither senior Eric Pittard nor sophomore Max Seibald played on Sunday.  That could have a big impact on the offense.

Yup, and others were rested as well...and some that did play are nursing injuries as well.

Did anyone have the opportunity to see the scrimmage with JHU on Saturday? Your thoughts?

Al DeFlorio

According to postings on LaxPower Forum, Hopkins "won" 13-4, and Seibald once again did not participate.
