We have won a lot of faceoffs between last night and tonight...either we have significantly improved or Maine and BC are weak at faceoffs.

Interesting mention that Léveillé is from the Nanaimo Clippers and thus was a teammate of numerous Cornell players (O'Byrne, Bitz, Hynes, Sawada from the current roster, alone).

Moulson just missed a goal after Bellamy over skated the puck and Downs found Moulson open

That's four solid periods in a row, outplaying good teams.  Although it was a bummer to be exiled to the Consy, this is hardly an Estero Enema like '01 or '02.

Good interview with Everblades' president and tounry founder (and Cornell hockey alum) Craig Brush.  Did I miss next year's field?

Clarkson, Maine, Ohio State and Cornell involved in first tournament.

Coach Walsh from Maine was very interested and helped with ideas for the tournament.

All of the seats weren't filled but all of the tickets were sold--over sold (there you go again ;-) )

Ned has a special place in Craig's heart...loves seeing him and seeing the response he gets from others

Has noticed that hockey knowledge has greatly improved...handed out a pamphlet "Hockey for dummies" during the first tournament

Future of tournament--Maine and Cornell will be main-stays, would love to keep BC on a semi-regular basis if York wants (SCSU is the bastard child apparently).  Wants to keep top teams in the tournament and likes to rotate teams in the other two spots because of the large alumni associations in the area.
