First, I'd like to extend a very big thanks to everyone who contributed in keeping eLynah alive. I'm always amazed at the generosity of the Lynah Faithful, and this was certainly no exception. Thank you very much to each and every one of you.

Thanks to all the familiar faces on the road. The Faithful (students, alums, and otherwise) who make doing the cowbell cheer in a hostile rink worthwhile. The players' parents who give as much of themselves as their kids, logging countless miles to places that no one in their right mind would consider a destination on any other night of the year, to support the team. They are always a friendly, welcome sight.

Thanks to Facetimer for keeping me on my toes and being a constant reminder of why I hate the Islanders and their fans. I can honestly say this place wouldn't have been the same without you around this year.

Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to the players for making the Ithaca winter something we actually look forward to. A classy, genuinely nice, friendly bunch of guys who we can cheer on unabashedly, with pride. Ryan, Ben, Greg, and Todd, you'll be missed.

HAHA ... Berge, I got a personal thanks, you didn't.   ::moon::

and... uhm... you're proud of that? ::rolleyes::

I appreciate the nod Cowbell Guy, even if you are a stupid facetimer. It has been a fun year getting on all your nerves. I'd just like to say to everyone out there who is uptight about anything with the program, lighten up. It is college, but this is a profit making sport. So don't be afraid to criticize the officials, other teams, coaches and even the players. And to those of you who come to their defenses, (Greg Berge) I'm sure Vesce doesn't care if someone calls him out on the Elynah forum. Most of all I encourage all of you to stand up for your rights inside Lynah. In my time here I have seen the place transformed from one of the coolest places to watch a sporting event into something that isn't fun at all. (I might not even get tickets next year) That being said, we can do something about it let Schafer, Gene Nighman, Phil Ghrame and Andy Noel know of your displeasure. Send them emails, let them know that THEY are a big reason why we now lose routinely to teams like Clarkson at home. (If you want to bring up the fact we have less talent, fine, but we still have A LOT more talent than them.) The fact that a sign "Nickerson has syphillus" should not be allowed in is ridiculous. Go up to these men and let them know you won't stand for it. While I'm sure most of you hate me, be it known that I know a thing or two about hockey. Lynah is not what it used to be, you alums know that better than I do. DON'T STAND FOR IT. Start petitions or something. Maybe someone should mail Phil Ghrame a fish in the mail. Do something. It is really sad what has become of Lynah. On a side note, thank you Cowbell Guy for keeping me up to date on the world of gay porn.

Age, thanks a lot for all your hard work in keeping this website running and providing us with a comprehensive place for everything Cornell Hockey.  Keep up the great work.

What they said.  Over and over again.  You're unbelievable, Age.

I have to add a thankyou to Age also.  It was nice to meet you in the flesh and we (my family and I) will look forward to meeting up with you again.

This is the place that has held my attention all winter.  The only thing better is being at the game.

::stupid::

If this isn't an indictment of the lack of an English requirement at our fair alma mater....

Yes Marty you're right. I have no grasp of the English language, I'm an idiot. Maybe becasue I was writing and Internet Post shorthand. This is what I mean, stupid alumni like you that continually reinforce the ivy league nerd ideal. You were an engineer weren't you? I'm sorry you couldn't get laid until halfway through your junior year, and if you feel the need to take that out on my grammer I understand. You stupid facetimer.

God, give Facetimer a break!! Sure he's rude and annoying at times, but God, you all take it so seriously! Have some fun with it.. you don't have to be smart asses EVERY single time.
Do I Make You Hornby?

Ack

Yeah, but I'd rather thank the far more deserving Age than anyone who's most eloquent form of communication is punctuation and four-letter words:

[q]Facetimer: Blah!  Blah blah, blah blah blah![/q]

Facetimer makes fun of Age, Greg, and others (including myself on at least one occasion).  We make fun of Facetimer.  There's a balance to these things.

Ouch! Slapped in the face for criticizing GRAMMER!
