Don't be too hard on McKee. Sounds like he's had some really good saves so far this game. And he's gotten much better and more comfortable as the season has progressed.

O' Byrne takes someone down.....no call..... SLU coach is angry.

Under 14:00 to play

I don't think anybody was being hard on McKee.  Au contraire, he's been a  big (positive) story this weekend.

Soft goals happen to everyone -- even Lenny gave up a couple.

McKee's not as good as Todd Marr - he's a lucky freshman getting some early opportunities due to injuries.

Scott Goldsmith \'96

He takes everyone down!

2:17 to go; PP coming up for SLU!

It's....guess who.....O'Byrne

2-1 Final!  3 point weekend in the North Country is pretty darn good I think.

Solid effort tonight. Cam Abbott with the game-winner.

Anyone hear what the SOG were?

Right.  His 1.22 GAA in ECAC games--all on the road--is...oh...at least 0.1 above LeNeveu's last year.  Simply dreadful.::rolleyes::

McKee is definitely looking much better now than over the WMU weekend. Which is only good news for us.. Cause it really shows that he's settling down. Letting 3 goals in a weekend at North Country is pretty darned good if you asked me. I guess the second goal against us at Clarkson was partly due to him letting the puck squeak out beneath his glove.. but he definitely didn't get help from Carefoot who knocked it back towards the net. It was probably the unluckiest bounce against our goalie I'd ever seen. McKee made two really sweet saves 1 seconds apart late in the third at Clarkson. Don't see any reason why people should be putting him down at all for his pretty solid effort this weekend.

With the win, McKee's stats are:

GAA: 2.12
SV %: .918
