Seems to be a bit of dropoff between the poll's #10 and #16 teams.

Saturday=t 4/4/26

@Harvard 12, Brown 10  (so the Crimson are beatable?)
Princeton 18, @Vermont 5
Yale 18, #Dartmouth 7
Cornell 16, @Penn 8

Harvard 3-0, Cornell 3-1, Princeton 2-1, Yale and Penn 2-2, Brown 0-3, Dartmouth 0-3.

Nice bounce-back win. A slow start, but then a complete takeover. Having #20 and #18 back was huge.

Dartmouth and Harvard left. If they win both then the ILT would be here.

It's really too bad I couldn't be there in person to see Penn get soundly beaten. That stadium was one of the most annoying places to watch a lacrosse game

First time we won at Franklin Field in 8 years.
In Penn's previous Ivy game, it trailed Dartmouth 14-6 and then scored 10 unanswered goals.
ESPN announcers praised size of Cornell fans contingent.

I've heard this regarding Franklin Field a few times now. What exactly is it that makes it so annoying?

Does anyone know why there was beef between Goldstein and Penn fans? This game was chippy but I don't remember any prior history with Penn.

Annoying fans, insufferable PA announcer, old, uncomfortable facility (although it's fun to wander around and see the Center City sightlines from high up).

Anyone's guess with those people. Goldstein is from one of the main line suburbs (Radnor or Malvern I think), so the game at Penn is basically a homecoming for him and it wouldn't surprise me if his parents and others were in attendance. Maybe those fans were bitter he didn't stay closer to home? Who knows.
