Quote from: fastforward on Today at 12:19:00 PMI hope everyone going to LP has a blast and have safe travels.

For anyone coming into Placid off 87, through Keene on 73...

...leave yourselves -A LOT- of extra time! It's snowing and the roads are particularly slippery. This coming from an Ithaca native used to driving in this stuff. (Kim is driving, but...)

Our original ETA into town was about 2:30PM. At this point GPS is showing we've lost close to an hour, and it's getting worse.

Edit: We've passed at least half a dozen cars that have slid off the road or into other cars.
Seconding. It's getting snowy as hell here. Passing Grove Point right now.

First crash is about 1.5 miles from exit 29.

The car agreed the driver was "an asshole".

Crash 2 just south of North Hudson. Woof.

The streets in town aren't great but at least they're plowed. Safe travels all.!

Weird feeling not needing to win the ECAC to make the NCAAs, and coming off back to back championships. Feels like house money to me. Which is a good thing, to be clear—-but I feel no anxiety. That will be very different next weekend.

I'm feeling anxious simply because I don't want to go to Sioux Falls.

Clarkson band in the upper bowl, as expected.

andyw2100

Dartmouth up 1-0.

2-0 Dartmouth. Guy coming in from the middle of the blue line and two Clarkson defenders parted like the red sea to let him skate straight in.

Edit: 2-0 after 1. Shots 15-9 in favor of Clarkson.

Thanks for the updates - was just about to ask how the game is looking!

My updates are not nearly up to your level, Stereax. Very minimal.

People have to watch that second Dartmouth goal, though. It was right in front of the Cornell section and was absolutely ridiculous.

Cornell players watching the game too...

Jeff Hopkins '82

General observation: Dartmouth is FAST and they pass the puck really well.

Funniest defense ever. I don't know why either of the two Clarkson defenders didn't step up to at least contest the shot.
