I don't think I've ever seen a penalty called for "taunting" before. Where do they make the distinction between that and "unsportsmanlike conduct"?

Quinnipiac's four goals against Harvard last night put their ECAC total at 102.  Q becomes the first team with 100 goals in league play since St. Lawrence did it in the 1996-97 season.

Their 3rd Best Offense in the last 4 seasons.  However, order has been restored to the universe.

Can you easily display both side by side to see how many times a team has done both in the same season?

Eyeballing it, Cornell in the late 60's-1970 and 2002. Q recently, RPI mid 1980's, Harvard 1989.

I'd love to see that with notation on national titles won, since there's obvious correlation.

...yet.

(Yes, I know the stats refer to regular season games.)

As... you... wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiish.

An added gift: note the one man to achieve the double yet lose the NCAA title to another ECAC team.

Yet.

We have gone this late twice before and still kept the streak alive, the 2011 ECAC SF and the 2014 ECAC QF game 3.

Just curious. How did you decide which of the probably many logos that each school has used over the years appears in your website? I had not noticed before that you were using a Dartmouth Indian which has to be quite old. Did you recently start using that one?

I was going to mention that.  But then I was also going to mention that both those years the Big Red promptly lost their next game and ended their season, so I decided to shut up.

I suspect it's the logo from the time Trots was in school, lmao. (Though by the mid-1970s, Dartmouth discontinued its use of the "Indians" brand, stating that "use of the (Indian) symbol in any form [was] inconsistent with present institutional and academic objectives of the College in advancing Native American education".)

Yeah, Dartmouth was the Big Green when I was in school.  The officially changed the name in 1974 (per Wiki).

Looks good, but need to adjust for our mediocre SOS. I know sezenack was maintaining a metric that adjusted for SOS. sezenack, you reading this?

Quinnipiac on another level.
