how is there still no highlight package from this game on either the penn or cornell sites!

As expected, Harvard and Yale dominated the All-Ivy teams. TE Ryder Kurtz, a junior, will be returning next season.

Continuing on the thread from the Cornell-Columbia as per Schoellkopf Field I agree that the facility is showing its age. Given Cornell's current financial challenges am doubtful that they will be addressed any time soon.  My wish list:

Much needed renovations to the ancient bathrooms
Renovate the concession operation
Having a set of stands on the Cornell bench side of the field
Spruce up the Crescent itself
Bring back the class flags that used to rim the Crescent
A magic wand to increase attendance outside of Homecoming.

Otherwise Happy Thanksgiving

It's a small thing, but the flags on the crescent used to be a symbol of game day that really added something.

NCAA football playoff 1st round:

Villanova 52 Harvard 7
Yale 43 Youngstown State 42 - Yale was down 35-7 at the half!

Saturday 2pm ET, #18 Yale (9-2) at #2 Montana State (10-2). The most important Ivy League football game since 1945. Go Eli!

It's a 15 minute walk to Bobcat Stadium for me, and the weather forecast is OK (snow, better than rain), so I'm gonna go see if Yale can make a game of it.

I am not optimistic for Yale but I love that it is happening. There will come a day when someone here complains about the playcalling in a 54-3 loss to North Dakota State and I can't wait.

Very easy for me to root for Montana State in this one

I wish kalshi had a way I could have bet on this post happening. I nearly name-checked you in my post because I'm rooting for Yale!

Yale lost to #2 seed Montana State 21-13, but they showed the Ivy League can play against the best FCS teams.  Hope we see Cornell in the football playoffs in the near future as well.

Yeah, Yale was very competitive, in a very hostile environment.

Their O line did a good job opening some room for their running backs. Take back the first 2 interceptions (the 3rd was a 4th down "run out of options so heave it down field"), and it would have been even closer.

I was surprised when Dan Swanstrom kept him on staff when he came. Defense against both the run and pass is an area that needs vast improvement. To be fair, part of the problem has been not being able to recruit Dl with adequate size. Not unlike Cornell's inability to recruit centers with good height in basketball.
