2 minute full time is brutal going against this man up.

Aggressive penalty assessment for that.

12-12 now, 4:58 to go in 3rd period.  Cornell has outscored Notre Dame 5-1 in this period. Time for our LETHAL attack unti to continue its roll.

14-13 ND end of the third.

Heckuva game.

Breakdown, let the ND ballcarrier free topside.

Knust and Psyllos have been warriors today.

Bit of a heartbreaker, but I bet Notre Dame doesn't want to have to face Cornell again.

I was mostly hoping that Cornell would win so they'd stay North if they get to the second round of the NCAAs.  Any chance that still happens?  (A LOT of lacrosse to go to even qualify for the tournament at all, let alone the second round, but I'm just wondering.)

Quote from: mike1960Should have won that one.

Both teams had mistakes the last 2 minutes. I feel had Goldstein made that pass, we win. Wild finish.

upprdeck

cornell needs to win the next 2 to make sure that even get into the tourney.

Still had the ball late and a bad TO.. That was a story all day though with to many unforced turnovers.

Bad missed call on that loose ball push late in the game

upprdeck

Yup that push was called all game and ignored late.

Refs blew the non-call. The idea that refs should call the game differently in the final minutes is the absolute stupidest notion in sports. Then Cornell blew the pass to the open man. It would be a shame if this costs them the NCAA tournament.

Goldstein had a bit of a rough game with a couple of turnovers-we forget this is only his 5th or 6th game.  Also Notre Dame seemed to be winning groundballs late in game-but Cornell proved they belong up there with the best.
