New rates came out and went up quite a bit. No mention of course work this year. It would be nice to know if we have half a course or what

Does Duffield play golf? Swing a Million our way?

Also noticed RaeNic went private again. That could push some traffic back to Cornell as well.

Its still shocks me that there is no discount for employees.

I guess we can throw the sand wedge in the trunk at the turn.

Cop at Lynah

There is a discount if you are an employee of the athletic dept.

They did take out a bunch of trees over the winter, the most notable one was the tree that hung over the left greenside bunker on #18.  Now you can actually play to the left side of the green

CU2007

How much did the price increase from last year?

Cop at Lynah

$100 increase for membership and $5 for non-member greens fee

What is the range of prices members pay: townspeople, alumni, fac/staff, seniors, students?

upprdeck

There are only a few rates for memberships

Athletics gets one
Students get one
families get one $1900
minors get one $425
over 62 gets a rate $1350
Everyone else gets the same rate $1500

Family rate is solid if you have a family that plays

Rates are on the high end considering the state the course has been in

still dont understand why there is no perk for Employees to join.

One reason many join outside is Tburg is like $500 cheaper, and you actually get a functioning restaurant. though the food has gotten better just not many options.

For any of you guys in the somewhat immediate area. Throw me a dm if u ever wanna play here. I consider this my home course.

Are there any additional fees after the $1500 to play?

$1500 is a packet but not terrible if you play a lot.

upprdeck

$1500 is fine if you can play at least a twice a week,

so far the course has been open for like 2 weeks and had about 3 nice days.
None of the nice days has worked out as a day I could play yet.

about 26 weeks gets you to Oct.

once a week you are better off not getting a membership.

I kept track, I played 41 times last year and would not have paid $1500 since not all of them were 18 holes

Once a week and then league night makes a membership barely a good deal.
You get rained out or go on vacation you break even.

The guys who are retired and play 2-3x a week that's the good deal.

you also don't get exclusive tee times and the pace of play is awful.

Sometimes outsiders get the impression — hope? — that restaurants in Cornell facilities and things like the Lynah/Newman snack bar ... is run by hotel school students for a) experience and b) give Cornell a good name.

Sort of like if your college has a criminal justice major, why not let those students do internships as campus cops because what could go wrong?
