You know. This is a great moment for this team and you keep posting these bitter messages. stop hating so much.
Not bitter; wistful.

When we eventually liquidate these families it will be somewhat of a waste.  That money buys a lot of after market improvement.
Ooooh, look who got shot down when he tried to get a date with a Kappa or DG.

But not so trashed they went out and got blurry tattoos.

Me, I think this is a kumbaya moment and we should even feel sorry for our brothers and sisters of Old Nassau.

Also, looks like RichH's Thread of Destiny subject line is no longer woofing. Remember it was Quint who posited before the playoffs began that Cornell was not a team capable of a "deep run" in the playoffs. We crossed that bar making the final four.

I am so looking forward to Monday.

Never question my methods.

Couldn't attend the semifinals (and good thing given the weather delay), but will make the trip for the game tomorrow. It's nice to go into a game without the weight of expectations. I just hope we play up to our capabilities, and we'll see how that measures up to this Maryland juggernaut. LGR!

Old Quint I'd probably seething on the inside from seeing Cornell at this point. I'm sure he's somewhere making as many ritual sacrifices as he can to avoid the worst to tomorrow

I never thought he was blatantly anti-Cornell. Am I oblivious?

I think Quint is a pretty decent analyst and never found him anti-Cornell (He backstopped the Hopkins championship over Cornell in 1987).  Anish is a little too pro Syracuse and Carc tends to go over the top in overpraising some players is my assessment Ryan Boyle is a much better analyst and IMO the key to being a good analyst is never to refer back "When I played".  Hoping for best tomorrow and looking to Piatelli to break Mike French's record.  Also a shout out to Christian Swezey's book "We Showed Baltimore".  Excellent book for any lacrosse fan no matter where you attended school.

"looking to Piatelli to break Mike French's record."

Only want to see him win a title like French did. I dc if he has 10 assists with zero goals. I'm sure he feels the same way.

Interesting that the two finalists met in a fall ball scrimmage at Delbarton this past October.  Who'd have thought they'd next meet on Memorial Day.  Reports on the scrimmage can be found on this page of the Cornell 2022 thread at the fanlax forum:  https://fanlax.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2950&start=100

Oddsmakers have Maryland as 7.5 goal favorites over Cornell. I'm no gambler but that's a tempting line to take Cornell to cover.

Though I am wearing my carnelian-colored glasses, I would be pretty surprised if we did not cover 7.5 goals.

Do we assume Cornell will be in the same sections of the stadium on Monday? If so, what were they? I'm planning on buying tickets at the stadium to save on the exorbitant fees.

The hybrid undergrad/alumni band (spanning the classes of '75-'25) will be in 129 if that helps. I don't get the sense there was much attention being paid to where people were sitting Saturday vs what the tickets said either.

I came across this earlier today which seemed to suggest the Cornell ticket allotment is for Section 123, so generally that part of the stadium: https://cornellbigredtickets.universitytickets.com/w/CustomPageView.aspx?pageID=6
