Hi all--  I've coordinated some space to watch Cornell kick UNH's ass next week over some food and beer, so if you can find a way to get away from work, here's the info:

When: Thurs., April 10, 11:45 AM
Where: Joshua Tree
             513 3rd Ave. (between 34th & 35th Sts.)
             New York, NY

Hope all the local Big Red fans can make it.  If you do plan on coming, please post to this thread so I can keep a reasonable count to give to the bar.

See you then!

Are non-cornellians invited?  I may be in NYC that day.  Thanks.

Note to Matt:  Rich S. is a long-time contributor to Cornell hockey discussion and avid college hockey fan.  He should be most welcome.  Also, if his school, Clarkson, was there instead of us, I'd be rooting hard for them; hopefully he feels the same way.  But even if that's not the case, welcome him in.

Please note that the Cornell Club, on E. 44th between Madison and Fifth, is hosting a watching party for Thursday's semifinal with a cold sandwich and salad buffet for $15/person, membership not required (though they ask that you call to reserve a spot).  Info is on their main page at http://www.cornellclubnyc.com/ .

Matt-

Thanks for setting this up! Count me in.....

Of course, all college hockey fans are welcome, especially if you can deal with loud Big Red Fans!

I know the Cornell Club is also sponsoring an event.  My Joshua Tree event will allow people to buy beers (not sure about the bar situation there) and bar food.  See you all there!

Thanks Matt but it looks now like I can't make it.  Have to be here in Jersey for an afternoon meeting with a prospect...I'll have to try to catch some of it before I head out.

Yeah, I'd love the noise thing and no problem handling it.  I was at Clarkson in the early 70s when we played in tiny, cold Clarkson Arena...now THAT was incredibly loud!

I'm in   Thanks for putting it tigther.
