Speaking of closings in the mall, just swung out here today to blow money on hockey cards and go to Zocalo. The Spencer Gifts is closing too, apparently. Not sure how much longer this mall will be in business.

the one downtown is not nearly as busy as when it started out

Tbf, Chipotle does a LOT of catering for events at Cornell. So the foot traffic might not show the whole story.

Chipotle also now does a lot of UberEats and DoorDash business. And for what it's worth, if I want what I usually get at Chipotle I'm not going to go to Taco Bell or a more traditional Mexican restaurant. I go to a Mexican restaurant for Mexican food, I go to Chipotle for Chipotle.
