QuoteUnless you live someplace like Louisiana, Texas, Utah, California, etc, right?

Or if you live in Ithaca, have a family of four, don't happen to have a spare $500 lying around, and yet still wish to support the team, at least in spirit.

upprdeck

the games will be on Empire on Sat. they are unclear about sunday...

CrazyLarry

Well, if you live really far away you could be forgiven by whatever power grants such things :-)

But, if you are a student in Ithaca - Get yourself to the Dunk!!!  No excuses.  Find a way.  Never know when you'll have another chance like this.  Don't take it for granted.  We're not going to be ranked #1 at season's end every year.

Robb Newman

Amen to that.  I missed probably the best two games during my undergrad days (QF wins over Harvard in the midst of the streak) for a silly orchestra rehearsal.  Still kicking myself for that one - don't let that happen to you!!!:-(

Anyone have any ideas of how to listen to the game (online) or any sports bars with NESN in Iowa? I'm a poor grad student that spent my last $$ on getting to Albany.

Well Erin, there's always the opponent's broadcast.  Seems to have worked pretty well this season.

David Harding 72

It looks as though there may be a chance of the MSU-Mankato folk broadcasting the game on the web.  They seem to have covered the rest of the season.

No excuses?  What if I have to go to the Jersey Shore?  http://www.njguido.com/writings/moo_word.htm

Hillel, you are so the man.

Also beware: I just got off the phone with DTV, and there is a danger that those of us "lucky" enough to live in areas where the local cable cartel has bought the Regional final broadcast from ESPN may have the games blacked out on the RSNs.  Where are those bird-flipping smileys...

You know, DTV and the whole blackout thing SUCKS. I understand blackout when the game in available on free tv or another SAT channel, but TWC has a local exclusive and we obviously can't get TWC or we wouldn't have DTV!

And here it is, John, on your behalf

I dont even live where they have cable 20 miles from ithaca and have been blacked out by TWC... Empire which has the rights to show me anything they want as my Directv RSN gets blacked out all the time and no-one at Directv can figure out why... i now have a direct # to people in california for complaints  which does absolutely nothing since it always happens after all the people go home for the day... if i were people i would be calling tomorrow and making sure what they have for blackout plans...
